Doge’s Palace and the New Prisons linked by the Bridge of Sighs

From San Zaccaria (Vaporetto)

Walk 2–3 minutes west along the Riva to Ponte della Paglia.

From Piazza San Marco

Head towards the lagoon side of the palace; the viewpoint is just beyond.

Look up: you’ll spot the arch connecting two grand façades.
